Jocelyne Gagnon is a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Addiction Counsellor with more than twenty years of experience working in the fields of mental health, trauma, and addiction. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals navigating difficult life experiences, emotional overwhelm, and the complex challenges that can arise when people feel stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves.
Her approach to psychotherapy is grounded in compassion, honesty, and respect for each person’s unique life story. Jocelyne believes that meaningful change begins with understanding—taking the time to explore experiences, recognize patterns, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.
In her work with clients, Jocelyne focuses on creating a safe and supportive space where individuals can speak openly, reflect on their experiences, and begin to develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience. Therapy is approached as a collaborative process in which goals are explored together and progress unfolds at a pace that respects each person’s needs and readiness for change.
Jocelyne integrates a range of therapeutic perspectives in her work, including trauma-informed approaches, self-reflection practices, and practical strategies that help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Jocelyne is also an author. Her writing focuses on healing, personal reflection, and the journey toward greater clarity and self-understanding. Through her books and educational resources, she encourages readers to explore their inner experiences and develop tools that support personal growth and well-being.
Her work reflects a central belief: while our past influences who we are today, it does not have to determine who we become.
